Forensic Psychology
My background includes specialized training in both clinical and forensic evaluation, as well as health psychology and the profound impact of trauma, their risk factors, the psychological consequences, and how victims tend to respond in these situations, as well as how organizations can prevent and remedy these problems.
I previously held faculty positions at the Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine and UMASS Chan Medical School, practicing within complex environments such as oncology, transplant, and reproductive health. My background includes mentoring, training and teaching doctoral students and medical residents and fellows on a broad range of topics related to the psychological impact of trauma and medical issues. I have contributed to peer-reviewed research and am frequently invited to speak at national conferences on topics such as resilience, trauma-informed care, and the psychological nuances of navigating medical challenges.
I hold full licensure in Illinois, New York, Iowa, and Massachusetts, and am authorized via PSYPACT and therefore can provide services in over 45 states and Washington D.C..
